Minor Characters in Season Two
Wirusu Soldiers
Throughout season two, Tatakya, Mojuro, Ghaleon, and even Kimmeria send wirusu soldiers out to do their bidding. Like a typical Saturday morning anime, or cartoon for others, these monsters would appear in an episode, each one more unique than the rest. They share a similar trait with Sailor Moon S' daimon, each one having the ability to siphon out a person's life force to find a certain artifact trapped within. If the person's life force isn't returned to them at a certain time, they will transform into wirusu.
Freiheit Debut: "Season 2 Beginnings"
Object Possessed: Lamp Post
Element: Lightning
Weapon: None
Voice Actor: Wendee Lee
Seiyuu: Yumi Toma
Special Attacks:
- Deadly Program: Wires escape Meradi's body, trapping her enemies.
- Extract: While the enemy is caught in the Deadly Program, their life force is extracted from their bodies to Meradi.
Meradi was the first of many wirusu that Tatakya and Mojuro created to find the Soul Eater. When she took the form from a lamp post, her first targets were Setsuna, Haruka, Michiru, and Hotaru, all oblivious as to what a Black Heart was after their encounter with Kuja. Haruka was the first to call her a Death Buster, since the monster reminded her so much of one. None of the senshi's attacks had any effect on her for reasons unknown, not even Hotaru's Silence Glaive Surprise. She extracted Hotaru's life force, thinking the little girl to be the rest person to own the Soul Eater. Her search was in vain. She escaped back to Mojuro and Tatakya, where she was offered one final chance to make up for her mistake. Meradi would return to Tokyo to battle the Outer Senshi again, along with Usagi, Mamoru, and Drake. Usagi was the chosen target this time and her life force was drained. Once again, Meradi's search was in vain. The wirusu soldier would meet her fate after Drake and the others regained their memories. She was obliterated by the Soul Eater's Judgment spell.

She siphons Keroberos' life force and calls it the Soul Eater. The life force is returned after Syaoran and Meilin fight her off. After it is returned, Sakura uses the Firey Card, which the wirusu surprisingly knocks it away. She blasts the four kids with her Camera Rolling attack and siphons Sakura's life force. Tatakya and Mojuro quickly tell her that it's not the Soul Eater and is forced to return it. She would return to siphon Sakura's brother, Touya's life force, only to return it quickly. Before they could battle again, Drake and the newly revived Toran Army enter the house long enough to destroy the wirusu with the Judgment spell. She returned it quickly after she realized he didn't have it. Taimu was one of the most challenging wirusu soldiers the Toran Army battled, since she could freeze every attack they threw at her, even the Judgment spell. Knowing who had the Soul Eater, she attacked Drake. Before she could extract him, Lebia and King attacked, remembering everything. Her demise was prejudged as she reassembled after they left. She followed them to Radius' island to battle. There she battled Drake and his group. Since they didn't have the Soul Eater, they returned the life forces to them. The twins assume the two singers' forms until Willis points out their true identities. No matter how many times the Toran Army used their attacks, the twins would regenerate as though they weren't even hurt in the first place.
