Kuja summoned the Doom and Gloom Girls to get Drake by himself during the final battle. Each one retained their natural properties from the Sailor Moon series, creating illusions to mess with their opponents' minds. Alex was the first to fall prey to their illusion when one disguised herself as Luna. Before he was killed, Alex managed to destroy one of the DG Girls with the Black Dragon Grief. Next, David Bowie was tricked when another posed as Jennifer Connelly. Like Alex before him, David sacrifices himself to take out another DG Girl. They would strike again when King and Ashley Angel were alone, disguising themselves as Lebia. Ash revealed it was a fake and King was incinerated by a fireball launched by the youmas. They tried to kill Ash afterward, but he shattered their abilities to make illusions by smashing a rock into the leader's forehead, like Ami did before him. Another girl attempted to capture Drake, but got Usagi instead. The senshi of the moon sacrifices herself to kill another girl, allowing Ted and Drake to move on. Ted allowed himself to be captured to battle the other two girls, killing one instantly with the Soul Eater. He wasn't so lucky as the leader impaled him with vines. Before he died, Ted used the Soul Eater spell, Hell, to finish off the leader, ending the Doom and Gloom Girls.
The Unknown Cult
An ancient cult that was developed to summon a dark god from beyond the stars and consume all in darkness. In order to execute this plan, a child of great spiritual energy must be chosen and be put through the tests of the cult. The child can only be chosen if he, or she, finds the ancient medallion of the ancient god. Once it is put on, their fate is sealed. The first test is called the Unknown Illness, where the child chosen is infected with an incurable virus. If it survives, the second phase begins, which is similar to Tourette's Syndrome. This is to test the self-control of the child. If successful, phase three begins, numbness. Once undergoing phase three, the child cannot move, feel, or touch anything. It will be as though he, or she, is dead. Overcoming the numbness will initiate phase four, the final phase, memories. The memories the chosen child will witness will be cruel and unforgiving, almost wanting the child to beg for death. If he, or she, survives the trauma, they are the rightful chosen. The child will be brought to the shrine of the cult, ready for the sacrifice. If the sacrifice should succeed, the god will be summoned. A legend says, however, that if the god should appear, an Angel of Light will appear to banish the darkness back from whence it came.

Bear once had his own TV show on Disney channel until it was cancelled to make way for new shows. To take revenge for his cancelled show, he sold his soul, as well as the rest of his castmates', to the Unknown God. With the power of the god on his side, he would take revenge on the world. He began by trying to take out Usagi and the other Sailor Senshi by making Chibi-Usa the sacrifice. To keep him from being suspicious, he challenged the Senshi to voting contest to see what show people preferred better. The show with 100 votes would win. During the voting, Bear was crushed by Fluisa, nearly killing him. Bear would lose the voting contest, but his revenge would still go underway as Chibi-Usa floated to the Big Blue House. To get the ritual ready, the insane bear and his cohorts traveled around the world to capture children. Before the night of the ritual, Mamoru made a deal with Bear to let him be the sacrifice instead. Breaking tradition, Bear accepted Mamoru's offer and freed Chibi-Usa. At the final fight, the members of the cult battled the Sailor Senshi until Chibi-Usa came to the conclusion that killing herself will free her father from a fate that he didn't deserve. Upon her death, the god possessed Bear's body. When the god was killed, so was Bear.

A nameless entity that was banished into the darkness by Leknaat for its cruel methods. It's unknown whether or not this creature once had a body itself. The only person that knows is Leknaat. Its physical form that revealed itself is a massive ball of dark energy hovering around the Earth. In Setsuna's vision, she saw two demonic claws wrapping around the planet. Whether or not this was the true god is also unknown. When Chibi-Usa was killed, he possesses Bear, transforming his once brown fur to black and his eyes red. The medallion of the cult became embedded in his flesh upon the fusion. There might be some speculation that the medallion is the actual form of the god. Usagi and the other senshi battle the god to avenge the fallen Chibi-Usa, only to fail countless times. With help from Hotaru and the others, they're able to revive her in time for Usagi to transform into Neo-Queen Serenity. Chibi-Usa joined her mother in her princess form, and Mamoru in his Endymion form. The senshi, Mamoru, and Chibi-Usa combine their powers with Usagi's ginzuishou, destroying the medallion, Bear, the Big Blue House, and possibly the god.
Some fans of Freiheit have even compared the god to the Canaanite god of fire, Moloch, since his rituals involved child sacrifices.
