First Anime Ever: Vampire Princess Miyu (1980s)

Max was surfing the web and chatting with people on MSN messenger when one day when he first got into conversation with Gemini Drake. Little did he know that this individual would later write a fanfiction that would include him as a character.

"I was talking to people in a wrestling chatroom, I was bored out of my mind, when I read a few of Drake's comments in the room. I thought, 'This guy's okay.' We entered a private messenger window and we chatted for a while." Max comments.

Max would be part of Drake's projects over the years, starting from 2000. His first team effort would be in the Internet wrestling federation, the EIWF.

"I wanted to portray a bad guy so badly and this was my chance to prove it. Unfortunately, my heel turns always turned my heel turns always turned out so crappily."

Max came to the conclusion that he was never really good at portraying a bad guy and has remained good throughout other projects. As time went by, Max met his soon-to-be wife, Nora.

"Me hooking up with Nora surprised everyone. Love at first sight, fairy tale story waiting to unfold." Max smiles.

With Nora in the picture, she too was pulled into the mix of Drake's projects. By the time 2002 rolled around, Max received an e-mail from Drake and it concerned Freiheit.

"At first, I didn't know what Freiheit was. I backtracked and I read the first two seasons - season one almost made my head explode - and then I was ready for the third season. I thought I was going to be a minor role, but then Drake slaps me in the face with the role of 'You're a Star Warrior, bub!'" Max laughs.

Information has been released that Max was to be Drake's rival throughout season three, but it wouldn't be until the New Leaf Academy Arc that him and Nora would be used.

"I asked Drake a few times, 'When am I going to show up?' I always got differents answers, like 'After the Warrior of Fire dies,' or 'When Greenhill's introduced,' etc."

Years after Oshria's Story was posted, Max would find out why he was pushed back so far.

"King, an old co-writer and story supplier, had been changing the story from time-to-time. Originally, Greenhill was to last us a while, but it was changed because of him. Instead, a card tournament took place... I didn't like that that much." Max sighs.

Max would come on and off screen for Freiheit episodes after season four, do to family issues. Season six would mark his and Nora's final appearance in Freiheit.

"I'm going to miss working with Usagi and the other Stars of Destiny, but we've got e-mail so we'll keep in touch." Max chuckles.
