Gemini Drake, the author of Freiheit, had been writing fanfictions since January 2001. What was originally suppose to be a school project had turned into a fanfiction thrill for this young writer.

"I originally didn't intend for Freiheit to go this far. People have been e-mailing me left and right, 'Keep this going! This is good stuff!' Would you believe me that this was suppose to have two seasons? Look at it now." Drake chuckles as he holds up six fingers.

Truth be told, Drake got the inspiration for Freiheit after both playing the original Suikoden game and reading the BOTVGH:TND fic.

"I was looking up stuff for different animes and I stumble upon the BOTVGH:TND. First thing that comes to mind is 'wtf?' I read more and more of the stories and I'm surprised that it had been going on that long. I wanted to try and impress UDX myself one day and vowed to learn how to build websites." Drake comments. "When 2001 came around, my computer teacher taught my class basic webpage stuff with a program called Frontpage Express."

Drake began practicing with the program, even insisting on staying after school to learn more. The Freiheit website began as a basic Geocities site with the simple layouts provided. By 2002, Drake would literally teach himself advanced HTML.

"My friend, Johnny, was wanting to start an internet wrestling federation after I helped him close down another one. I said, 'What the heck, let's do it.' I made a basic page and I uploaded it on Geocities --" Drake pauses and points out his index finger. "Don't bother looking for that page, it's long gone," he chuckles. "I look at the editor and I see all this basic stuff, like "br" and "img" etc. This was child's play!"

After practicing with HTML, Drake was able to convert the Freiheit series from multiple paged episodes to one page long episodes. The first one he successfully did on his own was "Mimi in Danger, BOTVGH Allies."

"I did that episode and it literally took three days to finish because I was still a rookie at HTML. After I posted the episode, I showed it to UDX..... I don't think he liked it." Drake chuckles nervously. "Sorry, UDX, I promise I won't do that again!"

To this day, Drake is almost finished with season six of the fic, "Tempus Edax Rerum." Him and his sister, Mahna, are currently in production of it now.

"I promised to have season six done by the end of 2006. Here we are in 2007. Sorry, guys."

Drake had also finished the spin-off to Freiheit, Dämmerung's first season with pinpal, Doris.

"Dämmerung is on hold until I say so, mwa ha ha." Drake laughs. "But seriously, we will have more to give once season six of the fic is done.... God, I'm gonna miss writing this stuff."
