After calling him a coward and a weakling, Adam challenges him to a duel in the Dusk Plains, as ordered by Lee. However, it proves to be a trap, and Lee becomes Marax to try to kill them both. Richard flees with Amalthea, but his daughter runs back to check on Adam. As she leaves, Richard is fatally wounded by Belial. Before he dies, he allows Adam to wed Amalthea to keep the Vargas family alive.

The scientist responsible for giving darkness to Sylvia, Elmore, and Evander. In reality, he was studying Solomon Children. He got the idea after reading Xehanort's, or Ansem at this point, reports. His first experiment was with the demon, Haures, which he implanted in an artificial Black Heart. When Sylvia, Elmore, and Evander destroyed it, they were all consumed in its darkness. Then he experimented with the demon, Valefor, by breaking its body down into pills for Mordecai to take. Once the pills were gone, Mordecai would be completely possessed by Valefor. To finalize his experiments, he allowed himself to be possessed by Andrealphus. He captured T.P.F. Rio and tried to experiment on him, but he fought back. He then battled Glenn (now in Xehanort's form), Maya, and Rio at once, but was killed by their combined strength. Before he died, he told Glenn that Evander was still alive and possessed by Haures.
Ansem the Wise

Ansem was a respected sage and ruler of the Radiant Garden, but he has since cast off that name. As a researcher and ruler of his world, Ansem studied the heart and delved into the many secrets of the worlds, prior to the events of the story. He and his apprentice, Xehanort, believed that darkness could spread into and take control of the heart. In order to bolster defenses against the darkness threatening his world, the two researched the heart. He experimented on Xehanort.
After meeting with an anonymous source, Ansem ceased the experiments. He later found his Report on the experiments was given new entries by Xehanort, now using the name Ansem as his own. At that time, Ansem's apprentices betrayed him and banished him to a world of nothingness. DiZ claims he's trying to avenge the ruler by defeating Xehanort's darkness.

The nineteenth child of King Solomon, Sallos appeared as a human male youth with green hair and silver eyes. His mission, assigned to him by Belial, was to capture Lucia and battle Xiru to the death. He lured the Twilight Warrior to an abandoned steel mill in Muja where the spirits of the workers killed within still haunted it. Sallos used the spirits to keep Xiru from using his rune. However, it wouldn't work, and Xiru killed Sallos with his rune. Before he fully died, the spirits he used guided him to the afterlife.

The sixty-third child of King Solomon, Andras swore revenge for the death of his brother, Sallos. In order to do so, he would try to make sure that Xiru's child wouldn't be born by capturing Dorian, the doctor that was to do the procedure. Xiru, along with Brimstone, Pesmerga, Amy, and Dante, battle the demon in a burnt down church. During the battle, Time was absorbed by Jiendo, the Beast. Somehow, Xiru was able to fight Andras, while everything was frozen in non-existence. In the end, Andras was killed by Xiru stabbing him with his two blades.

The father of both Vann and Marino. After Vann graduated from junior high school, he became distant from his family. It turns out he thought of Vann only as a mistake, while Marino's the real successor to the Donohue family. In a drunken rage, he tried to kill Vann with a gun and shot his wife, Cynthia, instead. He then shot Vann to compensate for his misfire. At the same time, however, the bullet hit Marino. He met his demise when Vann awoken with a Solomon Child inside him and his malice ripped him into many pieces. Ernest is later seen in a vision of Vann's paradise where him and Cynthia are together under a tree watching their two children play happily.

Kristin's little brother. When he's first seen, he is hospitalized in the Justice Bureau's medical facility for his broken legs in a car accident. When Vann first sees him, he mistakes him for an albino for his eyes and hair, where as he only born that way, and not an albino. He knew from the beginning Vann was going to be trouble. He falls asleep whenever Kristin sings to him. He's last seen at age 8 at his sister's side when Vann tried to rape her.

The leader of the Seekers, the second one created. When growing up in the M.I.A. laboratory, Anshar developed feelings for Psyche, and learned how to paint. He would often paint portraits of her to try to win her over. One day he walked into the chamber of the oldest Seeker, Azhi Dahaka, and was convinced humans were evil. He banded the other Seekers together to flee the M.I.A. and find a way to survive without the humans' help. Eventually, Anshar learns of the golden mana from Azhi Dahaka, believing it could keep him and his comrades alive. He targeted Xiru, the perfect candidate for a golden mana. He would battle Xiru twice, the first time he lost, but the second time he managed to knock Xiru out and capture him. Back at the M.I.A. headquarters, Anshar would begin to siphon the golden mana from Xiru with his comrades, but it turned out he was being used by Kizashi, the director, to revive Azhi Dahaka. To make up for his mistakes, he saves the other Twilight Dreamers who were captured by them. As Xiru battled Azhi Dahaka, Anshar joined everyone in prayer for his victory. Once the battle is over, he is given a little of Xiru's golden mana to become a complete human being. No one knows his whereabouts to this day.

One day Anshar banded the other Seekers together to flee the M.I.A. and find a way to survive without the humans' help. He would develop a cold hatred toward human beings and even toward his partner, Kishal. Eventually, Marduk would speak of perfect candidates for those that contain golden mana within their body. He targeted Minerva. He would battle her twice, the first time he lost, but the second time he managed to knock her out and capture her. Back at the M.I.A. headquarters, Marduk would begin to siphon the golden mana from Minerva with his comrades, but it turned out he was being used by Kizashi, the director, to revive Azhi Dahaka. To make up for his mistakes, he saves the other Twilight Dreamers who were captured by them. As Xiru battled Azhi Dahaka, Marduk joined everyone in prayer for his victory. Once the battle is over, he is given a little of Minerva's golden mana to become a complete human being. No one knows his whereabouts to this day.

One day Anshar banded the other Seekers together to flee the M.I.A. and find a way to survive without the humans' help. She didn't wish to leave, but wanted to because she had feelings for Anshar. That and she had previously suffered from mana shortage and nearly died. Eventually, she learns of the golden mana from Marduk, believing it could keep them alive. She targeted Doris, the perfect candidate for a golden mana. She would battle her once and fled from her. While her comrades were battling their targets, Kishal sacrificed most of her mana to keep Zack alive after a brutal attack from Marduk and Pazuzu. She began to suffer from mana shortage again. Doris, after being begged by Psyche, gave Kishal some of her golden mana to keep her alive. Even before obatining the mana, Kishal proved to be more human than her comrades. Upon being revived, she would lead Doris and the others to where the real plot was being hatched, at M.I.A. headquarters. When Kizashi revealed himself, he dubbed Kishal an accident. To make up for their mistakes, the Seekers save the other Twilight Dreamers who were captured by them. As Xiru battled Azhi Dahaka, Kishal joined everyone in prayer for his victory. Once the battle is over, she fled with her comrades. No one knows her whereabouts to this day.
Pazuzu

He would read all his plays until he eventually learned to recite the lines by heart. One day Anshar banded the other Seekers together to flee the M.I.A. and find a way to survive without the humans' help. Upon leaving, he would dispose of his Seekers attire and switch it to a "Phantom of the Opera"-like suit and mask. Eventually, he learns of the golden mana from Marudk, believing it could keep him and his comrades alive. He targeted Yorae, the perfect candidate for a golden mana. He would battle him twice, the first time he lost, but the second time he managed to knock Yorae out and capture him. Back at the M.I.A. headquarters, Pazuzu would begin to siphon the golden mana from Xiru with his comrades, but it turned out he was being used by Kizashi, the director, to revive Azhi Dahaka. To make up for his mistakes, he saves the other Twilight Dreamers who were captured by them. As Xiru battled Azhi Dahaka, Pazuzu joined everyone in prayer for his victory. Damu, Ninisina, and Gunara

The remaining Seekers that went feral. Gunara was the first Seeker ever to die, having been slain by Zack. Damu was the second, having died from mana shortage. Ninisina would be the last of the ferals, next to Agasaya and Ishtar, to die, this time at the hands of Psyche and Zack.
Kizashi Kasshoku

The general of the M.I.A. and Psyche's father. Kizashi was the one responsible for creating the ten Seekers from the discarded mana of dead Justice Bureau agents. Before he was a loving father, always called Psyche "Kirei" (her true name), and cared for the well-being of others. After Azhi Dahaka was created, and the Seekers escaped, he changed drastically. He became a cold-hearted being, casting aside anyone who got close to him. In reality, he was the true mastermind behind the plan to gather golden mana. He planned to have Anshar, Kishal, Pazuzu, and Marduk get the golden mana then force them to merge with Azhi Dahaka. After that, he would merge with the Seeker himself with his daughter, Psyche. Together, they would absorb the mana of the world to recreate it. The Seekers betrayed him and saved the Twilight Dreamers in time. Kizashi merged with Azhi Dahaka anyway, but it proved useless. The Seeker became feral and Kizashi lost control. Xiru would use the power of his rune, mana, and prayers to destroy Azhi Dahaka, and with it Kizashi.
Azhi Dahaka

The first Seeker created and Kizashi's project. Instead of becoming a humanoid creature like his brethren he became a two-headed beast. In reality, he was infused with corrupted mana instead of pure mana. Kizashi planned to make him pure by finding golden mana. This is where Anshar, Kishal, Pazuzu, and Marduk came into play. However, Kizashi's plans would be foiled when the Seekers betrayed him. He would merge with Azhi Dahaka anyway, but causes him to become feral. Xiru, in the end, would use the power of the Twilight Rune, mana, and prayer to destroy the beast, along with Kizashi.
