Special Attacks

Deadly Fingertips - The first spell of the Soul Eater. The enemy is surrounded by a pillar of dark energy. If the spell is successful, the enemy dies instantly. If it fails, the enemy has some of its energy drained and given to Corey.

Black Shadows - The second spell of the Soul Eater. The enemies are surrounded by a dome of dark energy that continues to expand until it explodes.

Hell - The third spell of the Soul Eater. Similar to Black Shadows, except if the spell is successful, the enemies are dragged into Hell. If it fails, the enemies inside the dome have their energy drained and given to Corey and his allies.

Judgment - The final spell of the Soul Eater. A hexagram forms under an enemy and six spirits surround them. The star glows red and a white column of energy blasts down on the person standing in it.

Starlight Sword Disaster - Only executed in Star Drake form. Corey charges his sword with light and points it at an enemy. The energy is released as a concentrated blast that can instantly kill a weaker foe.

Starlight Blaster - Only executed in Star Drake form. Corey combines the powers of the Radiant Star and the Soul Eater together, blasting the enemy with a combination of Judgment and Starlight Sword Disaster.

Starlight Barrier - Only executed in Star Drake form. Corey holds his hands out and a barrier of white light protects him and his allies.

Starlight Rush - Only executed in Star Drake form. Corey can only perform this with multiple people in the party and if both blades of the Masayume are present. The party sends their energy to him, while he channels it into his blades. He rears them back and then slashes downwards, releasing the energy in the form of a white shockwave that cuts through the enemy/enemies. Depending on their condition, this move can usually destroy them in one hit.

Unite Attacks

Ted: Double Judgment ~ Ted and Corey stand side-by-side and raise their right arms in the air. Their Soul Eaters flash, trapping their enemies in hexagram and executing Judgment on them at the same time.

Glenn: Master and Student ~ Glenn and Corey run at an enemy, swords drawn. They both slash at it at the same time, inflicting massive damage.

Mun: Reluctant Partners ~ Similar to the "Master and Student" attack, except it features Mun instead of Glenn.

Black Wargreymon: Bio-Merge ~ Corey holds out his D-Arc and merges with Black Agumon. The result is bringing forth Black Wargreymon into battle and increasing his power massively. The merge will last for three turns. Afterwards, Corey and Black Agumon are stunned.

Mahna, Spyro, Max, Nora, Savannah, and/or Loki: Starlight Purification ~ Only executable if all are in Star Warrior form. The six Star Warriors stand in a hexagram position and raise their arms in the air. The enemy/enemies trapped within their space is blasted with a heavy burst of white light. All of them are stunned for one turn after this attack is finished.

Winona: Dream Purification ~ Corey transforms into Star Drake and prepares a Starlight Rush attack, while Winona readies an arrow. As he releases the energy, Winona fires the arrow, which is surrounded by a pink aura, causing the wave of light to explode and damage all enemies in the area. Winona is stunned afterwards.

Background Information

Not much is known about Corey, the mysterious young man who appeared after Drake's death. He told the Justice Bureau officials that he fell asleep one day and woke up in their building with no memory of his past. Instead, he had obtained Drake's memories. Whenever he is near anyone that the fallen warrior once knew, a vision would flash into his mind, filling him in on all the info he needs about them. He was even mistaken by Kristin and a few other people among the bureau and Toran Castle for Drake, though he claims that he looks nothing like him. The day he laid eyes on the young Dr. Meredith, he fell in love with her, almost like Drake did when he signed up for the bureau. Like Drake, he shares a fear of elevators, snakes, and fire. Unlike Drake, Corey is a certified hemophobic, which causes him to freak out when he's exposed to blood, even his own.

Drake's blood type, as well as everyone else in his family, is type O. When Filauna, the then captain of the Justice Bureau, questioned Corey's life, she made him take a blood test. His type would be revealed to be type A, instead of Drake's type O, which put Filauna's theory to shame. Even so, the captain vowed she wouldn't stop until she found out that Corey was Drake in disguise, even though a body had been found. With all the tests done on him, he became an official agent for the bureau. He was moved into Drake's former dorm room in the bureau, where he kissed Kristin for the first time. After she left, he would have an interesting conversation with Drake's spirit, who told him about everyone in the Toran Army, his family, and anything else needed to be known. The spirit even dropped a note for Corey to show to Kristin and the other members of Drake's family. When he did, Nineve thought Corey was trying to be funny and snapped at him. After assuring them that he didn't have anything to do with the note, he was sent to the computer world. There, he would be dubbed Drake's successor, as well as the next bearer of the computer world's Armament, the Soul Eater.

Season Five - The Cult of the Watchers

Mamie St.Claire Arc

Corey was immediately taken into the Toran Army after Mahna met him. By orders of Leknaat, he was to be given the Soul Eater, for reasons unknown. Ted, who had guarded the rune since Drake's death, transferred it to Corey, who became freaked out by it. Immediately after he obtained it, Saseko and Petra Fina attacked the castle. First they captured Mahna and threatened to destroy the castle if Corey didn't battle them one-on-one. Spyro, Savannah, Ted, and Luc tried their best to ward them away, but were easily defeated by Saseko's Pale Gate Rune. Corey was forced to face Drake's ex-girlfriend in combat. Instead of battling her, he threw down his sword and ran away. He couldn't stand the strain of battle already. He hid in the basement of the castle until he was told by Drake to get the Crystal, as well as the Soul Saber, and teleport to an open field. Once he did just that, and escape from Petra, he had training battles with Drake. He finally got the hang of battle and returned to Toran Castle for a rematch. Before he battled again, Drake entrusted his powers to him, bringing Corey's Soul Eater to level 1. Saseko and Corey battled each other throughout the entire castle until he finally ran her through in the kitchen, where everyone was imprisoned. He passed out after Saseko's blood fell onto his hands. He recovered just in time to attend Drake's funeral, where he thanked him for everything he did for him, thus having him make a vow to become stronger.

Days go by and Corey is plagued by reoccurring nightmares of what appeared to be his own death. Mahna gave him a gem that was told that would keep nightmares away. That night, the gem was taken back by Mahna, since she thought he didn't really needed it, and Corey was plagued by the influences of Karasu, the nightmare demon. His nightmares would haunt him even while he was awake. He mistook his allies as zombies trying to get to him, which were actually Spyro, Savannah, and Ted. He hid in his closet with his sword in hand, ready to strike at anyone who came near him. Mahna, however, saw through this evil and managed to keep it away with the gem she had taken back the night before. When she found out everything that had been hurting Corey mentally, she and Sailor Mars brought him into the bath hut where he would finally complete his dream. At the end of his nightmarish trail, he met Mamie, who told them that one day a new disaster would strike the computer world. With the message told, he woke up and broke free from Karasu's spell. He would team up with Mahna, Ted, Rei, and Setsuna to exorcise the demon away from Toran Castle, which he managed to do with a Judgment attack.

Following the events of Karasu, Corey's attention was caught by an article in a newspaper that told of a carnival in Gregminster. When Mahna okayed the trip, he told her about Mamie. After that, he would find out about the deal Ted made with Leknaat in order to stay alive: that the Soul Eater was to be protected and that he may never see his best friend, Tir, ever again. Even after hearing this, he managed to convince Ted to go to Gregminster later on. Once he made it to the carnival, his eye was on the star medium of the St. Claire Caravan, Mamie, the same girl from his dreams. They met in her tent, where she proposed to conduct a seance to Drake. With Mahna and Ted, they were ready to begin. Instead of getting Drake, Mamie was possessed by Mae Young. Corey felt responsible for having her be possessed and vowed to release her from the evil woman's spell. In the same day, he would help Ted convince Leknaat to let him live long enough to get rid of the Crack Waltzes. Even so, Corey managed to touch Leknaat's heart and let her spare Ted's life.

The next day, Corey would get a surprise visit from Glenn, who was thought to have been banished from the computer world for being possessed by Ansem. He was assigned by the Justice Bureau to be Corey's new trainer, teaching him in the arts of combat and rune magic. After a hard day's work, Corey was held captived by the revived Crack Waltzes while Glenn interrogated Purichado with an ankle lock. He managed to escape right as Glenn breaks Purichado's ankle. Corey would continue to work with Glenn, even if it meant hard training activities, like baseball, videogames, sword fights, etc. Surprisingly enough, Corey revealed he never played a game before in his life, yet he knew how to play a few of them that Spyro and Savannah threw his way. At that same time, he would put his training to the test to help drive Triple H and Trish Stratus away from the castle when they came in to capture Viki.

When Karasu returned to haunt Toran Castle, she was going to possess him again, but failed when he woke up. He would help Ted, later, snap Sakura out of her trance of trying to burn her Sakura Cards. After both Karasu and Arasoi's defeat, Corey's birthday was coming up and the people in the castle wanted to celebrate it. Unfortunately, he didn't want them to make a big deal out of it for reasons unknown. While sulking, he found Slappy in the castle gardens trying to eat the produce. Even though he was told by both Michiru and Glenn he couldn't keep the cat, he still kept him around. Later, he found out Slappy had a recorder in his collar, which he would use to his advantage to see if the others were planning a party, which they were. On his birthday, Ryo, Takato, Rika, and Henry distracted him by taking him to the mall while the others set up. Their time of relaxation was cut short when the Crack Waltzes sent the snake monster, Chyga, after the Toran Army. Corey returned to the castle and was given his birthday present, Weltall. In his first mech battle, Corey was able to destroy the beast without any prior training. He would use his spare time to get better with his new mech and destroy any new monsters Mae Young sent after them. With all this training in mind, he completely forgot that Mamie had been possessed and fell for Mae's trap, which led to him being captured. He was beaten by the old crone until the others came to rescue him. Corey, battered and bruised, stumbled upon the Star Goblet in Mae's temple, which she quickly took and drank from. When Mae mutated into a monster, Corey was killed by one of her fireballs while trying to save Viki. Mamie quickly used the goblet on him to revive him. Though he had been dead for five minutes, he was still strong enough to help his fellow mech warriors to destroy Mae. After the crone's defeat, he bid Mamie farewell and shared a passionate kiss with her. She gave him her cross pendant before she left.

With Mae Young dead and Mamie purified, Corey decided to do some work for the Toran Army to repair the castle, whether it be participating as a judge for the cook-off in Orange Country, or being involved in Nadir's "Boy Who Cried Wolf" play (as the lead role). He revealed he had a bad case of stage fright, but he managed to get through it okay. He would later play the lizard, Bill, in the "Alice in Wonderland" play, and as Philostrate in "A Midsummer Night's Dream." With the castle repaired, Corey was quickly called to work by the ghost of the mercenary, Cedric, to find the mysterious Ragnarök dagger. He would assist the Star Warriors and Mordecai when they had to battle the monster Rydnat in their mechs. Though they defeated its first form, they didn't stand a chance against its second form. Had it not been for Luc, Corey would've died again.

Cult of the Watchers Arc

Corey was put to the test once Shion Uzuki and her team from the future came to warn them of the Cult of the Watchers. During their visitors' stay, he learned that he would have a son in the future. He would be the first person to look upon the Star Plate's vision when it presented itself to him and the Star Warriors. After that, he put himself on high alert status, which would mean zero tolerance for anyone who got in his way, including Shion and her team when towns were being destroyed. The zero tolerance policy faded away after he discovered that it was Yuber who had been destroying the towns. With the new threat known, Corey would be apart of the first attack squad against the demons, led by both Yuber and Albedo. Though he didn't win his battle, he managed to get out of it nearly unharmed. After Jr. leaves the Toran Army on a temporary hiatus, Corey begins to have doubts about Mahna and the other members of the Toran Army. In his second battle against Albedo, this time in his mech, E.S. Simeon, Corey wasn't able to defeat him again and was pulverized by Masao. During the next battle, Corey, along with Glenn, Ted, and Luc, led an army unit against the newly brainwashed Mahna as she led the Watchers into battle. It was this battle that Corey had a fierce confrontation against the Night Terror beast known as Fenrir. When the battle was done, and Mahna revealed her true alligence to the Toran Army, Corey left, hoping never to return to them.

During his travels away from the castle, he finds Jr. in Coronet Town, and witnesses an awkward scene between him and the bartender. After that, he spoke with him about never returning to Toran Castle, but Jr. decides to go back anyway. Immediately after the URTV left, Albedo and Masao attack the town, leaving Corey to fend for himself against them. He battled both Watchers on his own until Jr. returns to the town to aid his comrade against his insane brother. Together, they drove the two villains away and returned to Toran Castle together with news of the Watchers' lair: the Sky Fortress. With the information given out, he teamed up with Mahna in their Gears against the newest recruit of the Watchers, Uriel, and her mech, Skyghene. They were easily defeated by the Dynud speaking warrior. Soon enough, Corey would be on alert when the activation of four of the twelve Vessels of Anima came about. He helped Mahna, Shion, Fenrir, and KOS-MOS in their mission to save Glenn from Silver and Laveka, while trying to recover the Vessel of Anima, Issachar. Glenn was wounded during the mission and rendered comatose. Corey teamed with his fellow Toran warriors against the Watchers and Uriel until the fairy, Moriko, gave Mahna the Vessel of Anima. Corey wouldn't return to action in his Gear until Albedo kidnapped Kristin and used her as bait to lure the Star Warriors out. He waited in Weltall until the time was right and threatened to blow the albino to smithereens if he touched her. Unfortunately, the man wouldn't listen and killed Corey's beloved Kristin before his very eyes. In a fit of rage, Corey managed to tap into the power of the Radiant Star and transformed into Star Drake, and he turned his Gear into Xenogears.

Corey battled Albedo in his mech, Simeon, until he damaged the white mech. Though he thought the life support systems of Simeon were diminished, Albedo survived and captured the Star Warrior. Inside the Sky Fortress, Albedo tortured Corey by using his hemophobia against him. Like many kidnappings before, he was used as bait to lure the Star Warriors and Mamie to the Watchers, where the priestess, Manah, drove the medium to insanity. Corey watched helplessly as he heard Mamie's true thoughts be spoken out loud and then watched as she killed herself. He wanted to kill the child for what she did, but he couldn't find it in his heart to do it. The shock of all the visions coming true from the Star Plate drives Corey into silence, nullifying all uses of the Soul Eater and the light of the star.

For days, Corey moped in silence, blaming himself for the deaths of both Kristin and Mamie, thinking he could've done something to save them. This wouldn't stop his duties of protecting the computer world from the revived Watchers army when their Gears were reactivated to destroy them all. The mute warrior piloted Xenogears, accompanied by Spyro, Savannah, Max, MOMO, and Ziggy, into battle against the monstrosity the Watchers make by combining their Gears, the G-Elements. In his rage, he used Xenogears' power to the maximum limit and destroyed the G-Elements, with some help from Albedo. It was then he learned that Masao was used by combining his DNA with Albedo's. He couldn't let the sadness get to him long, he had to protect Gregminster from the Watchers. He had a secret agenda, to kill the priestess himself to avenge the deaths of his beloveds. Even if he did manage to get the Ragnarök dagger in his hand, he still couldn't bring himself to killing her. Instead, he teamed with Shion in her Erde Kaiser to combat the priestess in her giant form. Together, they managed to drive the demon within her away. Manah was rendered vulnerable to anything and she begged Corey to kill her. This was what he wished for, but he couldn't do it still. With Urteil coming, death meant nothing to him. The child apologized to him for what she did to him.

As Urteil drew near, Albedo still didn't wanted to give up and he battled both Corey and Jr. one more time on top of the Battle Ship IV. During this fight, the Star Sword that Albedo possessed started to bring forth Corey's thoughts to mentally torment the albino man. Though he had this to his advantage, Corey wasn't able to finish Albedo off. Instead he fled back into the Battle Ship, leaving KOS-MOS to fight him off as Urteil began. As the apocalyptic event begins, he battles the Grotesqueries in Xenogears as they descend from the heavens to bring forth doom and destruction in their wake. The combined forces of the Gears, True Runes, Rune Cannons, or anything in the Toran Army arsenal is nothing compared to the massive forces of the doombringers. When the queen-beast appears, Corey's the one who makes a plan to get rid of it as soon as possible. He would accompany the Star Warriors and Shion's group as Viki teleports them and the massive monster far away from Gregminster where the final battle would begin. He would use Xenogears as a shield to ward off its deadly song while Yuber battled Albedo. Even if he had the star's light blessing him, he's not able to hold the shield. Thankfully, Albedo foolishly kills the monster with his star shard. With the battle over, Corey bids Shion and her group farewell. Before she leaves, she kisses him on the forehead. During the credits of the finale, he's last seen repairing the inn in Gregminster as a shooting star streaks past the sky.

Movie 5 - The Castle of Broken Dreams

Corey is first seen in the movie holding up a picture of both Kristin and Mamie while sitting alone in his room. The guilt of losing them both still hasn't left his mind. When he leaves his room, he sees that Glenn has woken up from his coma, but he had been possessed by Saseko to get the Spirit Bowl that Karasu is trapped in. They are both knocked out by the released nightmare demon and dragged into different parts of the dream world. He walks through it and a man dressed in a dark cloak leads him to the castle. In the dream world, Corey has regained the ability to speak, thus returning his previleges to use the Soul Eater and the Radiant Star whenever he may please. However, the unknown man, who is actually Marluxia, tells him to traverse the thirteen floors of the castle to find something that's most precious to him. With this hint dropped, he's given gems that contains pieces of his memories. As he goes through each memory chamber, he relives a certain event that had taken place, except the people he once knew don't know him at all. As he clears each chamber, he's given gems from allies to summon them, like Mahna and Usagi, as well as hints to help him in his journey. Also, along his journey, he would be able to speak to both Kristin and Mamie until Winona is revealed to him.

After clearing his first chamber and obtaining Mahna as an ally, he meets his first member of Organization XIII to battle, number eight Axel. He manages to defeat the red-haired Nobody, but doesn't kill him. Instead, the man wants to tell him why he's there, but Corey wishes to find out on his own. He would meet with Larxene, number twelve, on the way to the seventh floor. There, she tells him that they have a girl named Winona in their clutches that's important to him. Since he has no memories of his own, he doesn't remember her. Larxene uses this to her advantage when they fight and Corey manages to wound her. He would meet a surprise guest, Uriel, on his way to the eighth floor. The two battle it out and Corey defeats her. She retreats and he quickly follows her. Close to the ninth floor, he battles Yuber instead of Uriel. Like before, he retreats upon his defeat. Corey would then battle number four of the Organization, Vexen, when he got close to the eleventh floor and defeated him rather easily. However, Vexen wanted to try and free him from Marluxia's game and brought him to Sanzemica. Corey claims he never went there, but the Nobody tells him his other half did. The young man is asked what's more important, his true memories or Winona, which Corey replied Winona was. Vexen and Corey battle one last time and the Nobody is nearly killed by him. Just as he's about to reveal Marluxia's plot and the truth behind Corey, Axel kills the old man.

The twelfth floor comes quick and Corey battles Albedo. He's unable to defeat the insane albino, but instead of him getting killed, he gets taunted to follow him. It's then Corey travels to the Justice Bureau memory chamber where he battles Saseko. Once he defeats her, he obtains the Masayume blades. However, he's forced into battle against Glenn, who's envoking the powers of darkness instead of his normal power. As their fight came to an end, Corey knocked him into a wall and he turned into Saseko. Glenn was never in the castle to begin with, nor were Uriel, Yuber, or Albedo. Winona appears before Corey and tells him the truth that the two of them never met and that Karasu had been manipulating their memories the more the memory gems were used. Marluxia was trying to get the two of them to work together so that they could help both him and Larxene to overthrow the Organization and make them the Superiors. Larxene battles Corey in another battle and the heir of Drake kills the sadistic Nobody. On the final floor, Corey would battle Axel for the final time and he assumed dead afterwards. Only Marluxia stood in his way. Marluxia demanded that Karasu use her powers to erase Corey's memories entirely, which he says he doesn't mind. In a surprise team battle, both Saseko and Corey work together to defeat Marluxia, but it was only a replica. Corey follows the real Marluxia to his world, now in Star Drake form, and defeats him with a Starlight Rush. He can't go on much longer and collapses in Winona's arms, who tells him to rest and when he awakens he may go to the Shrine of Nightmares to have his wish to Karasu granted.

As Glenn finishes his journey in the castle, Corey and him meet in Karasu's shrine where she asks them their wishes. Corey wishes for his memories to be restored the way they were before he came to the castle, while Glenn wishes to be clean of Ansem's darkness. However, Karasu can only complete this task if she absorbs life energy. She forces the two to duel, using Winona as a hostage. Corey refuses to fight and takes a beating from his trainer. Reluctantly, he uses the Soul Eater to blast Glenn away. During their fight, he had used too much of his strength and he begins to die out. He tries to force Corey to take his own blade and end his life. Corey refuses to kill his teacher and taps into the power of the Radiant Star that heals the both of them and changes him back to Star Drake. Karasu merges with Saseko and transforms into a hideous beast. Corey teams with Glenn and Winona to defeat the monster. Upon the nightmare demon's destruction, Corey's memories before he entered the castle returns and he is once again muted. He becomes the bearer of the Kali Blade as Glenn leaves the Toran Army.

Season Six - Tempus Edax Rerum

Tree of Life Arc

Corey is still a victim of the silence, overcome by the grief of Kristin, Mamie, and Glenn. While stuck in his room, he's pestered by a strange, young man named Mun who claims to have come from his head. Unfortunately for him, no one else could see him, which got people to question his mental status. After a while, Miku and Ted grow to believe there's nothing wrong with Corey. One day, and many time distortions later, Corey finally loses all grips on sanity and begins to strangle Mun, hoping to end his "life." While he proceeds to choke him, a vision flashes in his mind of Mun being stabbed through by a man in a dark cloak. Freaked out, Corey leaves, hoping Mun wouldn't follow him. He hides out in the library until Ted finds him. There he reveals that the two of them can communicate through their Soul Eaters, since they both are possession of one. Corey tells Ted everything about Mun and what he had currently done that day. During their conversation, Corey thinks Mun may've been a bearer of the Soul Eater. Later that day, another time distortions happens and Corey's attacked by strange vines. Had it not been for Mun, he would've been torn to pieces by the violent plants. It's after that event Corey begins to open up more to Mun instead of trying to distance himself from him.

As the days, or months, go by Corey finds himself alone. Mun had vanished mysteriously. One day, Zorn and Thorn appear before him and tell him he had been invited to their master's lair. With the jesters' message delivered, Corey communicates with Ted again through their True Runes, informing him everything he was told. He went back to his room, but Mun wasn't there yet again. He began to wonder whether or not the true identity of the spirit's murderer was himself or not. Mun reappears, much to Corey's relief. Upon their reunion, Ted informs him that they know the whereabouts the mysterious clown that had been attacking people in the castle recently. No longer feeling like he should be barred in his room, Corey follows his comrades into the depths of the World Tree, Yggdrasil. Once there, Corey didn't have to keep his secret of Mun hidden anymore, since Mun became visible to everyone inside. Everyone was then separated into the different spheres of the tree. Corey was teamed with the Star Warriors, Luc, and the newest recruit Ulrich as they battled both the archangels Raziel and Metatron. With all the archangels defeated, Zorn and Thorn battled the Toran Army, Corey getting involved in the battle against the red jester brother. The jesters were easily defeated and they opened the pathway to their master in the hidden sphere, Daath. Corey went with Mahna, Savannah, Spyro, Luc, and Ulrich into the empty void where they battled the Midgard Serpent. The young man had to watch as everyone but him and Ulrich were killed brutally by the massive snake until Luc used the last of his strength to blast the beast away. Corey would then discover the true identity of the Mad Hatter upon the snake's defeat... Mun. Once again, he had been betrayed by a friend.

U-TIC Organization Arc

Corey suffers from both the loss of his girlfriends as well as the betrayal of Mun. He has once again distance himself from everyone in the castle, feeling the true purpose of the Soul Eater take effect that misery would keep it quelled. During one of his naps, he dreamt he was on a train where he met a man in a dark cloak, one similar to his dream. The man tormented and choked him with darkness while reciting a prophecy. After seeing this dream, he begins to question his true identity of whether or not he is that strange man, and if he was the unknown man that Drake battled in Hollow Bastion. Ted comes to his room to tell him to get ready for the Reforging Ceremony, since all Star Warriors were needed, but Corey had given up hope for the computer world. Kristin and Mamie appear before him to convince him not to live in sorrow and help them. He would take place in the ceremony, standing close to the Star Sword. The ritual fails as Viki attempts to get involved. It was after this failed attempt that Corey wanted to become stronger and he wanted Ted to teach him. After his first training session with him, the unknown man appeared in the castle and messed with the Star Spear, thus negating its hold on whatever force was preventing it from causing time distortions. This distortion would send every member of the Toran Army 4000 years into the future.

In this new time period, Corey learned that even though Urteil had been stopped, Earth would later be reduced to ruin that would force humanity to leave it. While pondering, he speaks to one of the newest recruits, Loki, who tells him that his son, whomever he was, looks exactly like him. Corey didn't too big a part in this story arc, since Xenogears was reported missing after Earth/Lost Jerusalem was vacated. When the U-TIC Organization attacked, he stood on the sidelines and watched while the others. After Loki defeated Margulis and saved Viki, he was able to return to his time period. When they all returned, Corey had a special guest for him during the celebration party in Gregminster, one who could possibly cure his silence. He gets to meet Winona again, though he doesn't remember her at all. After her song, Corey became emotionally attached to her.

Eternal Chain/Jiendo Arc

Corey became a prime target for the newest villains, the Eternal Chain, upon Winona's arrival. Their first attempt to keep him silenced was by sending an army of redeads and other assorted demons after the Toran Army, all led by Schwarzes, hoping that he would be killed in the battle. While Loki battled the man in black, Corey assisted Luc, Shion, and Ulrich in their struggle with spider demons. After Loki defeated Schwarzes, Corey became his next target, nearly killing him in the process. It was because of his ally's insanity that Corey was able to find his voice again and blast him with a powerful Black Shadows spell. No longer mute, the powers of the Soul Eater and the Radiant Star returned to the Star Warrior right on time to leave to Hyrule, where the Eternal Chain would strike next, thanks to Winona's dream song. Before they could leave, Corey was attacked by Weiß, the white cloaked member of the Eternal Chain. Spyro, Savannah, Usagi, Jr., and Chibi-Usa had to help him fight off this new threat, but they proved to be powerless against him. That was until Jr. shot him in the head. Corey unhooded the man, still thinking he was dead, and revealed he was actually Albedo. The albino awoken and attacked Corey again until Winona and Ted came to his rescue. The albino fled upon orders from his master, leaving Corey to leave with the Star Warriors, Winona, and Luc to Hyrule. During the trip, Corey has a vision that featured Winona speaking to a different man. Whoever this person was, it was unknown to him.

The Hylians came as a shock to Corey, who had only seen humans and not elvin people. He would have to wait to tour the great land until they finished their assignment to prevent Link from being killed. They met him in the Temple of Time, as well as a member of the Eternal Chain, Xadron. It would be Xadron who would make both Corey and Winona remember their first meeting in the dream world when he mentions the name Marluxia. Corey assisted his comrades against the madman but was easily defeated. When he recovered from the failed battle, he would attend the meeting between the Toran Army and Princess Zelda. However, that too was interrupted by the Eternal Chain. At this time, each member, but Xadron, revealed their true selves: Hochroter was Ganondorf, Rot was Petra Fina, and Schwarzes was Yuber. He watched as each member of the Eternal Chain betrayed Ganondorf and killed him, thus making Xadron the newest leader of their insane family. Before a big fight could occur, Viki teleported everyone to safety.

The search for the sages began. Corey isn't mentioned again until Loki tries to free Ruto of Water from Xadron's control. He reports to the Toran Army that the Zora race had been frozen solid in ice. Finally, Corey would lead Winona, Link, and Zelda into the Spirit Temple to find Nabooru, the final sage to be purified. As he and Winona walked through a cooridor they were rendered unconscious by Decarabia and Albedo, both trapped in the dream world. Corey found himself on a beach where Winona was seen kissing a young man named Xiru. He felt betrayed thinking that Winona had been lying to him about him being the first person she had ever been with. The feeling of anguish left him wide open for an apparition of nightmares, the Kusabi, appear to try and take his life. He escaped quickly. He would meet with Winona eventually and asked her about Xiru. She had no idea who this man was. The two didn't know what kind of mind game they were trapped in but they knew they had to stay together. In Winona's eyes, for a few seconds, she would see Corey as Xiru, whereas Corey sees her as both Kristin and Mamie. This was, indeed, a set-up by Albedo, who wanted to tell Corey the truth behind Winona, but he refused to listen. The albino leaves the two with the Kusabi, a present for them for their ignorance. It was during this battle Corey transformed into Star Drake once again, but in a different set of armor.

The second form of Star Drake for Corey.

Together with Winona, the two were able to destroy the Kusabi with a Dream Purification attack. This woke them up and they were able to assist Link in his fight against Decarabia. Ulrich, Loki, and the mysterious Hel would join in the fight too. Before they fought the Solomon Demon, he revealed himself to be possessing Ted. Even so, Corey decided to battle against him. During this battle he would learn that Winona had killed a Solomon Demon before, the first child Bael. Since she had no memory of the fight, she couldn't supply any information to break Decarabia's Solomon Seal. After a tough fight, Corey uses his own Soul Eater to combat against Ted's, forming a whirlwind of death and destruction that destroyed anything in its path. Since he wasn't experienced with the Soul Eater like its former owners, his head would eventually explode from the pressure. Winona was able to stop the insanity by getting one of her arrows through the Solomon Seal and purifying Ted. The real Decarabia fled from his body and Corey was ready to finish him off. He managed to wound the beast, with help from Ted, using a double Judgment attack. Decarabia tried to flee but Corey was right behind him. Each person involved in the battle helped him get higher and higher toward the monster. It seemed like he would soon fall to his death when the Solomon Demon blasted him with fire. Instead, Kristin and Mamie helped him get straight to his target and Corey sliced through him, killing him.

With every temple and sage purified, Xadron began his assault on Hyrule. Corey was the one to give a motivational speech, getting everyone pumped up to go to battle. The first target would be Albedo in Gerudo Valley, a battle that Corey wouldn't want to miss out on. Instead of following the regular plan of actions, Corey went straight for Albedo, hoping to finally avenge the death of Kristin. His own plan wouldn't work and he moved aside as Nineve launched the Rune Cannons. After Albedo decided to join the Toran Army, he confronted the albino for everything he did to him in the past few years, starting from the Watchers. He gets involved in the interrogation of Loki after he defeats Yuber in Kakariko Village, learning the truth behind Mun, Ulrich, and Hel. Corey would lead a small unit during the battle against Petra in Kokiri Forest.

The eve of the final battle came sooner than everyone thought. Corey and Winona spend the entire night roaming the Battle Ship talking to everyone and learning what they had in store for the future. As the final battle drew near, Corey was assigned to follow the other Star Warriors, Link, and Zelda into Hyrule Castle to battle Xadron. He wasn't too thrilled to be battling the Eternal Chain Incarnate, which was a three-headed snake that summoned the spirits of Weiß, Schwarzes, and Rot on command. Ganondorf, who had faked his death, assisted them in their battle against it. During this battle, him and Winona worked together to destroy a shadow Rot that the serpents created to fend off against them. When Xadron was finally defeated, Corey wanted to reveal his true identity, but Loki told him not to.

Jiendo Arc

Corey has a dream that he's naked and stuck at the bottom of the sea with a naked Mamie. She vaguely drops hints that he should give Winona her cross necklace. When he was asked to help rebuild Kakariko Village, he's reunited with Max and Nora, who both tell him he should give the necklace to Winona. He later attends the celebration banquet at Hyrule Castle, which was ruined, courtesy of Leknaat. After the banquet, Corey gave Winona the necklace, which resulted in her being rendered catatonic. He would stay with her in the infirmary until he is stuck in another dream. It's similar to his previous one, except he's drifting to the surface and is being confronted by Kristin this time. She vaguely hints that Corey should use the Radiant Star to bring Winona back to the world of the living. It was after this Corey follows his comrades into the secret chamber below the Temple of Time, where Corey learns his element is light. Once the Radiant Star is complete, Xadron reappears and traps both Corey and Winona in dark chain energy. He threatens to kill them both should the star not be turned over to him. Oshria gives into his plans and Xadron forces Corey to give the Armament to his beloved Winona. Jiendo awakens and she wants to pull Corey into her. Sephiroth and Cloud pull him out of the chamber, though he begs them to let him be with her. He's knocked out and locked in a room on board the Battle Ship. Filauna then reveals that on the day Corey was born that Jiendo had chosen him to be the Tormented, the key to unlocking her true powers. Giving him the Soul Eater increased his chances of being selected. There could be so many ways to prevent him from going to Jiendo, but he would find a way to her no matter what.

Corey dreams again that this time he's in a forest with Winona before him. She fills Corey with what feels like the pain of the entire universe. She asks him if he wants it to stop, which he agrees that it should. Once Xadron attacks the Battle Ship, he's able to escape in Xenogears back to the Temple of Time. No matter how hard the Toran Army begs him to turn back, he won't. He gives into Jiendo's hold on him and he disappears into the strange forest he dreamt about. There he's reunited with his dear Winona and he sleeps with her by her request. His peace would be short-lived when Mahna, Spyro, Savannah, Greg, and Nineve appear before him and beg him to return. He finally loses his mind and wishes that everyone and everything would fade from existence so he could be alone with Winona. Jiendo begins to grant his wish by absorbing time. Corey's last seen speaking to Mamie, Kristin, and Winona before falling asleep again in the forest.

In the final episode of "Freiheit," Corey awakens in the middle of the destruction and speaks to Winona. It turns out they're both destined to stay in the forest until the destruction passes. Together they will repopulate existence. Corey feels this isn't right and decides to let Winona go. He wants to see and be with everyone else in the Toran Army instead of dooming them to non-existence. Drake and Winona speak to him, reminding him that the deaths of Kristin and Mamie were not his fault. Though he doubts people will want him back for what he did, it doesn't matter as long as the people that love him wishes him a safe return. The fact Winona will never return with him deals a heavy blow to him, but he understands why. He escapes from his mental prison through a lake in the forest. He's told to not look back, for if he does, he'll never return. As Jiendo dies, Corey returns to his normal time.

As he awakens, he hears Viki crying over the loss of Loki. Winona appears before him one final time to let him know if he uses the Radiant Star he can use the remaining five wishes he has left. He uses two wishes to restore the Time and universe that was taken by Jiendo, and to bring back the people who were murdered by the Black Heart to life. People like Ulrich, Mun, and Bakura were revived, but Loki didn't return.

Back at Kakariko Village, Corey returns the Radiant Star to Oshria. He's even given the opportunity to return to the real world by President Maria Truitt, but he refuses to go back. He wants to stay in the computer world to make up for the damage he had caused.

In the conclusion of "Freiheit," Corey stands alone on the top of Toran Castle until he's visited by a familiar face... Kristin.
